General Conditions of Rental

1 / TARIFF DETAILS

a) The tariff

The rental price includes the cost of heating, water, electricity, bed linen, towels and cleaning.

Il faudra ajouter la taxe de séjour d’un montant de 3,3€ par jour et par personne. Cette dernière est gratuite pour les enfants de moins de 18 ans.

b) Down payment & Balance

The tenant will have to pay a deposit of 40% of the rental price. The cottage will be reserved for the renter only upon receipt of a cheque, transfer or cash amount.

The balance of the rent will be paid four weeks before your arrival by check or transfer or cash. If the tenant does not pay this balance on time, the owner reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refunding the deposit.

c) Security Deposit

Le locataire devra remettre un chèque de dépôt de garantie de 2500€ dès son arrivée dans le chalet. Le chèque sera renvoyé au locataire sous huitaine après le départ de ce dernier.

d) Additional services

Optionally, you can take:

  • baby chair: free if available. Make the request from the reservation of the cottage.
  • cot: free if available. Make the request from the reservation of the cottage.

e) Other conditions 

Our animal friends are not accepted.

 

2 / CANCELLATION TERMS

a) Before entering into possession:

The tenant will be able to cancel his reservation at the latest 5 weeks before the entry in jouissance. However, the cancellation must be made in writing: either by email to sarl.frenchchalet@gmail.com or by registered letter to the address FRENCH CHALET, 256 rue de Chenavelle 73620 LES SAISIES HAUTELUCE

  • Option 1: The deposit will be retained by the owner if the lease could not be re-rented for the same period.
  • Option 2: The deposit will be refunded if the chalet has been re-rented for the same period and at the same price.

b) At the entry into possession:

If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours after the expected date of arrival, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his furnished.

Attention: The total amount of rent remains acquired to the owner.

If the tenant leaves the cottage before the end of the rental period, no refund will be made. Any stay started is due in full. Only the deposit will be refunded in accordance with these conditio

c) Cancellation by the owner

If the owner is obliged to modify or cancel the rental, you will be informed as soon as possible. The owner, as the case may be, may propose to the tenant an alternative as close as possible to your departure contract. If you are not satisfied with the alternative or if you can not find an alternative, you will be reimbursed for the total amount paid.

d) Other cancellation conditions

The rental can not be transmitted to a third party by the tenant, unless prior agreement of the owner.

 

3 / CONDITIONS DURING THE STAY

a) On your arrival:

  • Special case: If the number of guests exceeds the indicated capacity, and without prior agreement, the owner reserves the right to refuse the renters in excess, or to collect an increase

b) During the stay:

  • The tenant must ensure the peaceful character of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the places that it is of his fact, because of his family or his relations.
  • The tenant must behave as a good father and ensure the proper maintenance of the premises. Exceptional events are subject to the prior agreement of the owners. In case of harmful or incorrect behavior by anyone, the owner and his representatives reserve the absolute right to immediately terminate the tenant's stay. In this case, they must leave the property without delay and they will bear only the costs of their return and more generally any costs and expenses incurred as a result of this termination. The tenant will not be entitled to any refund or compensation for any reason whatsoever.
  • The tenant must let run, during the rental in the cottage, the work whose obvious urgency does not allow their postponements. The tenant authorizes the access to the owner for the maintenance and the cleaning and will be warned upstream.
  • The tenant must immediately inform the owner or his representatives in the place of any disaster and damage occurring in the cottage, even if no apparent damage results.

c) At the end of the stay:

  • The tenant undertakes, on his departure, to make the premises clean, the furniture, the installations, the interior and exterior equipment in good working order and generally in the state in which the property and its furniture , equipment and facilities were provided.
  • Any loss or damage caused by the tenant will be subject to compensation.

4 / REQUESTS

The renter has until Sunday evening to make any claims of non-functioning of the equipment or other trouble. Beyond, if there are problems these will be the responsibility of the tenant and retained on the deposit.

Any claims during the stay must be made to the owner or his representatives on site. No claim will be accepted after the departure of the chalet.

 

No erasure or addition will be accepted in the drafting of this contract.

In the event of litigation and no amicable agreement, the court of Albertville will take care of the management of the conflicts.
